Today Is Your Lucky Day

Manifestation, Visualization No Comments »

Today is your lucky day. At least it is if you pay attention. Paying attention, you see, is one of the important ways you create your own luck. You can see this principle in action in the following story.

Jack (not his real name) sat at the desk in front of mine at the real estate office where I briefly worked as an agent many years ago. He had been there six months and he hadn’t sold a thing. One day another agent was sitting nearby, explaining to someone on the phone that he had to find someone to cover his “floor time.” Jack heard him and just kept arranging his desk.

Floor time is time spent taking the incoming calls from people who want to buy a new home or other real estate. The callers are generally people who aren’t working with an agent yet, so this is a good way to get new customers, make a sale and get a commission especially if you are new and have nothing more to do than straighten out your desk again.

Jack could have volunteered to take the floor time and possibly made a sale, but he was busy arranging his desk. I took the agent’s floor time. Jack quit the business a couple months later. I guess he just had no “luck” in real estate sales.

Make This Your Lucky Day

Lucky people pay attention. They listen to what others around them are saying, and look for the opportunities it. A friend of mine once got a beautiful boat for half of what it was worth, simply because he was paying attention when the owner mentioned that he needed to get rid of some of his “toys.” He was often lucky like this, and  - not surprisingly - he was always a good listener.

Paying attention means training your senses to “tune in” to things potentially relevant to your pursuits:

An accident-lawyer’s ears should perk up if someone mentions an accident they were in.

A real estate investor should notice that run-down house with the un-mowed lawn.

An internet entrepreneur should read an article on new e-mail legislation.

An art gallery owner should see a beautiful mural on a building - and get the artist’s name.

A single man looking for love should spot the absence of a wedding ring.

A philosopher should find principles in action wherever he looks.

Your dog should come running when he hears the refrigerator open.

Of course it is helpful to pay attention at the moment, but this works even better if you take notes. “Lucky” people in our investors association often get deals before they are even listed for sale. Why? Because they have written down other investors phone numbers and the types of properties they deal with, so they can call them from time to time to see if they have something they need to sell. Lucky people pay attention AND take notes.

A final note: Sometimes things really do just happen, but the next time you find yourself saying “She sure is lucky,” look a little deeper to see if there are some reasons why, and some lessons you can apply to make this your lucky day.

Do Adverts Really Carry Subliminal Messages?

Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy, Hypnotize, Manifestation, Visualization No Comments »

How often do you think advertisers use subliminal messages to encourage you to purchase specific products? Whether you are one to believe that such mental programming takes place on a daily basis or if you tend to be more skeptical and trusting, it is worth considering whether these messages are playing below your conscious level through advertisements.

The basic idea of a message that is subliminally displayed is that you are not aware you are even being influenced. Your eye and conscious mind are not intended to notice the message, but the hope is that your subconscious mind will devour the information.

Studies have shown in the past that when someone already has a goal in mind a related message that is subliminally embedded can actually influence their future purchases.

For instance, a diet product may become more attractive to someone who wants to lose weight if they are routinely flashed an embedded message about that diet product.

If advertisers are using this inventive technique to help brand products or make them more popular, it may be quite effective. In the future as technology progresses and there are more ways to imbed messages, the use may skyrocket.

Taking the suspicion even further, there are many people who believe that entire populations of people are routinely exposed to these manipulative messages through their governments. Of course, no one is going to admit whether this is happening or not, but it would be a rather manipulative to control votes if it were used.

Of course, the main tactic that advertisers brand a new product and make it popular is through consistent advertisements that make the logo of the product attractive. Yet, how often do you think these advertisements actually include subliminal messages designed to affect your purchasing decisions? There is no concrete answer to that question at this point, though there has been tons of speculation and finger pointing.

Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy, Hypnotize, Manifestation, Visualization No Comments »

Meditation provides a much-needed succor to the battered mind and soul. This fact is known for centuries to ancient civilizations, like Hindu. However, the Western world has only just realized the potency of meditation as a means towards a healthy physical and meta-physical existence. Chakra Meditation, also referred to as chakra balancing or chakra healing, is one of the Meditation methods that is most popular the world over purely because of its simplicity and effectiveness in bringing about a change in anyones life.

Chakra Meditation; A Primer

Quite simply, Chakra Meditation or Chakra Balancing refers to the process of balancing and energizing all the 7 energy centers (Chakras) in order to align the flow of energy through them. This is also known as Chakra Healing. These 7 energy centers, or the Chakras, are:

*Crown Chakra is situated at the top of the head. It is related to the thought element, which governs our wisdom, knowledge, and consciousness.

*Brow Chakra, also called The Third Eye Chakra, is situated between the brows on the forehead. It is related to the Light element, which governs our perception, interpretation, and visualization.

*Solar Plexus governing your metabolism, autonomy and conviction is located just above the naval region and related to the element Fire.

*Heart Chakra is situated right at the center of the chest. It is related to the Air element, which governs our feelings of love, compassion, and general relationships.

*Throat Chakra governing your sense of creativity, resonance and communication skills is located at the base of the throat and related to the element Sound.

*Brow or The Third Eye Chakra located between the brows on the forehead and related to the element Light. It governs perception, interpretation, imagination, and clear vision.

*Crown Chakra located at the top of the head and related to the element thought. It governs consciousness, wisdom, and knowledge.

By concentrating and synchronizing these vital energy centers, one can achieve a calming influence on the mind resulting in stress-free existence and a contented life. Chakra Meditation also helps in naturally healing any ailment related to these 7 vital energy centers.

Chakra Meditation Unleashed

Chakra Meditation is the sum total of the following three techniques:

*Grounding Technique, which aims at making the body feel connected with Earth. You just need to visualize a root growing from your body and entering into the Earth. This requires intense focus and mental presence during the act of visualization.

*Centering Technique, which aims at preparing your body to receive the benefits of Chakra Meditation. Just take three to five deep breaths and visualize relaxation of every body part from toe to crown. In simple words, just tighten and relax each body part from toe to the crown, and then visualize the act of centering a pot on a pottery wheel.

*Relaxation Technique refers to the process whereby, the body feels relaxed by an act of visualization that suits an individual the best. Every individual is free to adopt his or her own relaxation method.

Here is a simple method of performing Chakra Meditation:

*Sit or lie down in a comfortable position.

*Close your eyes and loosen your clothing. The idea is to be in a natural state without any kind of artificial compulsion on the body and mind.

*Breathe in a relaxed manner, which is neither too fast nor too slow. Let the breath come naturally!

*Start feeling every part of your body from toe to the head in that direction. While your eyes are closed, feel the earth you are lying or sitting on, or the bed you are lying or sitting on, feel the aura around you, feel the clothes you are wearing. Feel everything youd have had your eyes been open. Visualize life in darkness!

*You may experience a wave of thoughts, fears, and every kind of emotion during this process. Dont avoid them! This represents the release of stress-related thoughts. With practice and regular exercise, these negative emotions and feelings will disappear.

*Dont hinder your awareness! Let it flow freely from one part of the body to another.

This exercise can be done at any time of the day and for any duration of time. However, the longer the better!
