Tony Robbins

Doesn’t it bug you when a person like Anthony Robbins tells you how you can reform your life? I have seen this guy on TV for the last 20 years talking about his seminars etc. Truthfully, I regarded him as one of the most aggravating self-help experts out there nowadays.

I then began to think that perhaps some of his teachings were worth a shred of truth. Therefore, I began to learn more about all the facts and the notable truths about this famous self-help expert. I have always found it curious that individuals can be well off telling everyone what to do in order to do well off too.

I got tickets for one of his seminars in Chicago, Illinois sometime ago and was immediately struck by the amount of individuals that went to listen. When I was in an apprehensive state, all I could think of was, “yikes! What a group of fools.” When he came to the stage, the entire crowd rose to its feet in thunderous applause for about 5 minutes.

The upside was that he did not waste any time getting to the topics at hand. He talked about his regular question about, “Why do people do the things they do?” Tony went through 15 different subjects during the course of the seminar; however, one topic specifically changed the way I thought about things.

It was the discussion about your health. Over the years I have let myself go, and mainly because of life’s stresses. Whether its bills, relationships, careers, lack of vacations, or anything else creating self-doubt, the fatigue and drive have definitely diminished. He explained why the rest of it was a waste of time if you didn’t have your health.

This topic on its own was adequate to lure my interest to discover more and buy one of Tony Robbins’s programs. What I quickly saw was that it did not only go over some of the subjects covered in the seminar, but also topics on every subject. I viewed several videos about modeling yourself on other successful individuals, a technique he refers to as “The Triad,” self-belief, and many other topics as well.

Whether or not Anthony Robbins and his programs is something for you depends on your thought process. If you’re willing to make a change for the better, then it’s definitely worth looking into further. However, if you were like me a couple years ago and thought all of this self-help business was for the birds, then keep doing what you’re doing. Just don’t complain how things turn out, because as Anthony Robbins tells us, “You have a choice, and it shapes your destiny.”

This is the simplest way to turn lemons into lemonade as the saying goes. I never thought I would do a complete turn around in my life. I now run 5 miles three times a week, I have a lot more energy to have fun with my children, and live a life of happiness that my family and I always desired.

Look, I am not a millionaire or something; however, I am glad with what I was able to learn. I feel I owe alot of it to Tony Robbins, and my suspicious curiosity to go and see his seminar. Overall, I would recommend his self-help guidance to anyone.
